  • 4.4 billion is a drop in the bucket for these folks. But a big amount for taxpayers. It would NOT hurt oil companies at all.

  • I can give Boehner $700 Billion in tax revenue - tax revenue is as good as spending cuts in reducing the deficit. Take the tax breaks for the wealthy away. $70B a year in tax revenue from them would be a lot of middle and lower income benefits that wouldn't have to be cut.

  • I appreciate that some Native Americans might have taken offense. But I'm certain that none was intended, and I certainly didn't take it as a slam against a specific Native American historical figure. Perhaps some folks are easy to find reason to be offended when no offense is intended.

  • Seems to me Obama is doing what a president should do. And in the process recognizing that Bush was in office when this all started, so he invited him to attend with him to honor the dead and bring some closure to all the people hurt by the 9/11 tragedy. It's what men of honor do.

  • He put politics aside and did what was right for the country. Isn't it great to know that our President has the Country's best interests at heart, and not political agendas. He's the right person to be running this country because of that. It's called integrity.
